Tyler Hoechlin has had an interview with After Elton and said that he’s a huge fan of James Dean. He also talks about the upcoming episodes and his experiences at the Comic Con event;

AE: Yeah, he’s got a bit of the “anti-hero” about him. Sort of a James Dean, brooding kind of quality, which I like.
TH: Yeah, yeah. I’m definitely a big James Dean fan, so that’s cool to hear that. But yeah, I always like to compare him to … Morpheus to Neo in Matrix, or Obi Wan to Luke in Star Wars. You know, [as far as] the relationship he has with Scott [Tyler Posey’s character], that’s how I really see him. The only thing is, with Morpheus you never had that question of like ‘well, is he gonna screw Neo over at some point?’

AE: What can we expect from Derek in upcoming episodes? Are there any hints that you can give us?
TH: A lot of not knowing what to expect. If anyone’s kind of felt that Derek was somewhat mysterious or not exactly sure about who he is and what his deal is, they’ll probably be more confused than ever in the next couple of episodes up until the finale. So it’s definitely going to take a turn.

AE: And how was your experience at Comic-Con? Was that fun for you, was it stressful?
TH: It was a blast. It was a lot of fun. This is our second year. Last year we did it and no one really knew who we were, and we were kind of begging people to come to our panel, and this year we actually had to turn away as many people as we let in. So we’ve been told that we’ll have a bigger room next year as long as we’re back. So yeah, anybody that was at Comic-Con that wants to see us again and maybe missed us, just make sure that we have a season three and we will be there.

Assignmentx has had a chat with Dylan about his fans and of course Playing Stiles on ‘Teen Wolf‘;

ASSIGNMENT X: Stiles is kind of a smartass. Had you played this type of character before?

DYLAN O’BRIEN: This was the first role that I got.

AX: What did you do before you were an actor?

O’BRIEN: I went to high school and I made YouTube videos, and that eventually got me into acting unintentionally. [They were] just sketch comedy videos that I would write and make and edit them and put the money in and eventually got enough of a following that somebody noticed me and I started auditioning and I got TEEN WOLF, so there you have it.

AX: Did you do Comic-Con this year?

O’BRIEN: Yeah, it was crazy. Really crazy. That was the first time we saw the reception that we were getting, the show and everything, the great response from the audience, the fans. Girls were screaming and crying and it was nuts.

AX: Was that reaction something that made you think, “I like this” or did you think, “This is a little unnerving”?

O’BRIEN: Well, it’s definitely unnerving. I used to be freaked out by it, but I’ve started becoming more comfortable with it, just because I’ve started having a different mentality about it, just like, “You’re just making these kids really happy” [laughs] and it’s really cool. You know, if they’re twelve to fourteen, they’re going to do things that obviously us twenty- and nineteen-year-olds aren’t equipped to at this point, they seem a little weird, but you’ve got to embrace that, and you’ve got to love how much they love it.

KSiteTV asked Tyler Posey, Dylan O’Brien and Crystal Reed what they are planning to do in their summertime;

TYLER: I’ve already taken all the downtime I need. I’ve got three movies that I’m going to be working on. One, I just started before we came here. I’m going to finish it when we go back. It’s a very small, not so much a small role, just a small schedule, and then I start another one which is being referred to as a Mexican Clerks. It’s called Taco Shop, and I’m really excited to do that. And there’s another one called U.F.O. that I’m going to be working on. And the one that I already started working on is called White Frog. I’ve also been playing a lot in my band, Lost in Kostko. We’re all doing stuff.

CRYSTAL: I feel like my summer has gone by so fast. I feel like I have missed so much of it. We’re doing a press tour in Latin America, and I just feel like it’s been so busy. I’m filming a movie called Jewtopia, which I’m really excited about. It was a play – I don’t know if you guys are familiar with it, but it’s super, super funny, and I play this “princess” Jewish girl who is really bratty, which I love. It’s completely outside of my character, so that’s very fun. But I want to get home and visit my family soon, because I don’t have any time and I miss them.

DYLAN: I did a movie a couple months ago, a romantic comedy with Jon Kasdan and Brittany Robertson. It’s called The First Time. I haven’t done anything since. I’ve just been auditioning and getting back into that, and trying to get more work between projects. I get a project for one week, and then after that I’m bored again. I’d rather just dive back into something before we go back to film.

Will ‘Teen Wolf‘ be having vampires in Beacon Hills? Read on for more about it;

“There will never be vampires,” Tyler Hoechlin promised us. “Vampires have been nixed. But other supernatural creatures, I think there’s an open mind.”

And incase his word isn’t enough for ya, the show’s head writing honcho, Jeff Davis, confirms: “We’re werewolves for now. I always say there will be no vampires on the show, but ask me in five years when we run out of ideas.”
