Tyler Posey gave us an update regarding Dylan O’Brien’s health. He’s on the road to recovery!

Dylan O’Brien is on the road to recovery.

Following an accident this March on the set of “The Maze Runner: The Death Cure” that left O’Brien suffering multiple injuries, the actor’s “Teen Wolf” co-star Tyler Posey spoke to Variety about his friend’s recovery — and says everything is well.

“He’s great. He’s got some recovering to do,” Posey said this weekend at the MTV Movie Awards. “He got hurt. It was a very scary situation, but he’s alive. Everything’s taking care of. He’s just healing.”

O’Brien has not addressed his accident. With a following of 4.5 million on Twitter, the actor has had no activity on social media since the injury occurred.

Following the accident, “Death Cure” director Wes Ball addressed O’Brien’s injury in a letter he posted on social media. “I’ve been overwhelmed with feelings of anger and sadness and guilt,” he wrote. “But, ultimately I find myself left with a deep love and respect for Dylan. He is one tough cookie. I’m sorry for the grief this accident has caused his friends and family as well as my wonderful cast and crew. It’s scary seeing your friend get hurt, but fortunately, Dylan is going to be just fine. After a few weeks of rest and recovery he’ll be back up and running to finish our adventure together. All the best.”

Posey and O’Brien have starred on MTV’s “Teen Wolf” together since the show’s debut in 2011. O’Brian starred in the first “Maze Runner” in 2014 and the second installment, “Scorch Trials,” in 2015. The third, “Death Cure,” hits theaters on Feb. 17, 2017.

Our amazing Dylan O’Brien is healing very well after he got injured on the set of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure, EW.com has learned;

Dylan O’Brien’s Maze Runner: The Death Cure costar Giancarlo Esposito says O’Brien is continuing to recover after he was seriously injured on the film’s set last month.

“He’s healing very well,” Esposito told E! News at the premiere of his new film, The Jungle Book. “He got put together a couple of weeks ago… he’s one tough cookie.”

O’Brien was hospitalized in March after the accident, which occurred while filming the third installment in the Maze Runner franchise in Vancouver, British Columbia. Production on the film has been suspended while he recovers.

“He got his bell rung,” Esposito added. “I would imagine many who witnessed it thought that was it…[But] he’s a survivor. The one good thing about Dylan that I think is going to help him get back on schedule with us very soon is he has a great attitude.”
