“Teen Wolf” fans, we’ve got more Season 3 news for you!

Earlier today, we reported four great pieces of casting news — including identical twin hotties and two mysterious new women. Now, we’ve got one more big of scoop! Zap2it has learned exclusively that Gideon Emery, who can currently be seen as Booth on ABC’s “Last Resort,” has been cast in a formidable new role.

Emery will play Deucalion, the leader of the pack of Alpha werewolves that closed in on Beacon Hills in the Season 2 finale. Described as having “an eloquent, cutting intelligence,” the new werewolf will set a plan in motion to turn Derek and Scott against each other, ripping the Beacon Hills supernatural community apart at the seams.

According to executive producer Jeff Davis, he’s given his pack a very specific set of instructions. In fact, he’s sending identical twins Ethan and Aidan into Beacon Hills High, on a mission to seduce and trap two targets, who happen to be Scott’s friends.

Emery, who was raised in the UK and South Africa, is a prolific voice actor, having worked on “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and given voice to countless video game characters.

“Teen Wolf” producers conducted an extensive search to find the right actors to play identical twins Ethan and Aidan, a pair of alpha werewolves who are part of the mysterious pack closing in on Beacon Hills.

This week, “Teen Wolf” had its first table read for Season 3, so we can finally reveal that 24-year-old “Desperate Housewives” players Charlie and Max Carver have landed the key roles. “They’re dangerous charmers. Ethan has a brilliant mind that he uses for devious calculation. Aidan is the simple brute force of the duo,” says the casting call.

Felisha Terrell, best known as Ariana Hernandez on “Days of Our Lives,” will also play one of the alphas who invades Beacon Hills. Kali is the first (living) female alpha we’ve seen on the show. She’s described as “ruthless and sexy.” The alphas have a plan to turn Scott and Derek against each other, which could tear Beacon Hills apart entirely.

Meanwhile, Australian actress Adelaide Kane is set to play Cora. As we previously revealed, she’s a tough 17-year-old, who has been on her own longer than any kid should — and she’s got ties to the Beacon Hills werewolf line.

All the actors are recurring guest stars in the series’ 24-episode third season, which is the first one to shoot in Los Angeles after a move from Atlanta. The castings were first reported by Deadline.

Hollywood Reporter sat down with Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien to talk about Colton Haynes‘ decision to leave Teen Wolf;

Colton Haynes shocked Teen Wolf fans last month when he confirmed that he would not be returning for the third season of the MTV scripted series. But members of the cast were dumbfounded by the sudden news, too.

“We found out when everyone else did, when it hit — I think there was a tweet or something,” Crystal Reed told reporters at MTV’s “Restore the Shore” fundraiser in NYC last Thursday night. “I didn’t think that it was actually gonna happen … it was shocking for me.”
While the exact reason for Haynes’ departure was not officially confirmed, rumors implied that contract negotiations with the network had broken down despite a “lucrative offer” from MTV — something that the actor had also reportedly dealt with prior to season two.
“There was talk about him doing this after the first season so we were kind of used to it, but then it actually happened,” said Tyler Posey. “It definitely sucks, it’s definitely weird. It’s gonna be weird to film it without him, but we have a good group of people on our show and we’ll survive.”

Though Haynes won’t be playing Jackson Whitmore when filming begins on Dec. 3, his former co-stars reassure fans that their parting is only professional.
“I feel like it won’t even feel like he’s gone — he’ll probably be still hanging out with us on set and still come to our parties when the show’s on,” Dylan O’Brien told reporters. “We’re still really good friends with him and we’re still gonna hang out with him … we wish him good luck, and we’re still gonna see him always.”
Double the episode count of its previous seasons, season three of Teen Wolf will kick off with a time lapse in the storyline of four months, complete with a concise explanation for Jackson’s leave in the first episode, noted Reed. But don’t expect executive producer Jeff Davis to make Jackson’s absence permanent, as sources previously told E! News that “Colton could come back still.”

1. I’m thankful for the unbelievable acting on Homeland from Claire Danes, Mandy Patinkin and Damian Lewis, whose performances are on par with any Oscar winner of the last year.
2. I’m thankful that Hans Zimmer’s The Dark Knight Rises score is so phenomenal that it’s literally the only thing I listen to anymore while I write.
3. I’m thankful that The Walking Dead just keeps killing people. Like everyone. If next week Carl was eaten, I honestly would not be surprised.
4. I’m thankful for Bruce Banner’s line in the Avengers, “I’m always angry,” which was one of my favorite movie moments this year.
5. Most of all, I’m thankful that I get paid to write and produce a TV show I love writing and producing. Even if I could really use some more sleep. And a day off. And a drink.
