Teen Wolf’s “Ghosted” is the sixth episode of its final season. The episode airs January 3rd, 2017 on MTV;
Scott, Lydia and Malia search for clues about the Wild Hunt in a mysterious place called Cannan while Liam and and Hayden take drastic measures in the fight against the Ghost Riders.
The good news: Stiles is finally back on Teen Wolf. The bad news: He’s hanging out with the Hale we love to hate, MTV has the details;
In a preview for next week’s episode, below, the beloved Beacon Hills teen meets up with none other than Peter Hale, whom we haven’t seen since he was locked up after trying to steal Scott’s Alpha powers in Season 4. And get this: The two seem to be existing in some sort of weird parallel universe reminiscent of the Upside Down in Stranger Things (if the Upside Down were indeed an old train station).
But is having Malia’s old man around all that bad? Maybe not, since the former Alpha seems to know a thing or two about the Ghost Riders and their Wild Hunt.
“They ride the lightning,” he tells Stiles the clip. “They are an unstoppable force of nature, but I promise you, they don’t make pit stops in train stations. If this is the Wild Hunt, there is no escape. You and I are doomed to ride the storm forever.”
But what does Stiles think about Peter’s gloomy assessment of the situation? Watch the clip to find out, and see it all go down Tuesday at 9/8c. (You won’t want to miss this ep — trust us.)

Trapped within the Wild Hunt, Stiles reunites with an unexpected ally; Scott, Lydia and Malia learn that Stiles’ Jeep may be connected to his disappearance.
Stiles may be stealing the focus of Teen Wolf‘s final season, but that doesn’t mean the remaining members of Scott’s pack have been — wait for it — forgotten. TV Line has some details on Malia’s ‘progressive’ arc in the final season;
“We really wanted to give Malia a lot to do this year,” executive producer Jeff Davis tells TVLine of Shelley Hennig’s character. “She’s one of our favorites. She’s fun, she’s funny and she’s not your typical teenage girl. Plus, Shelley is up for anything. She loves to work, and the crew absolutely adores her. I told my writers to make a list of everything we really wanted to do this season, and one of those things was to give Malia a really good storyline.”
As for Malia’s unenthusiastic hookup with Nathan (played by Teen Beach Movie‘s Ross Butler) last week, Davis has this to say:
“We wanted to see Malia as a bit of a player. She’s a wild animal, and she has needs of her own. What is she like without Stiles, without that relationship anymore? There were two characters we wanted to see not in a relationship this season, and that was Scott and Malia. It provides a nice new perspective on her and how she’s still learning things about how to act with humans in a human society.”
And then there’s Malia’s now-infamous nude scene from the season premiere. Davis says there was some debate in the writers’ room over whether Scott should have shielded his eyes until Malia — who just reverted back from being a full-on coyote — covered up, but Davis was adamantly against that.
“She’s a beautiful teenage girl, and she’s not ashamed of her body,” he says. “[The pack members] treat her completely normal. They’ve seen it before, and it’s not a big deal. I think that’s a progressive thing to show to the world.”
Shelley can’t stop laughing, Teen Wolf in Britain, Melissa Ponzio sits down with Morgan, and much more;
