Certain Teen Wolf supernaturals are known to let out a few howls — and now, some of the stars from the long-running series are using the trademark animal sound for a great reason, MTV shared;

The #Howl4ACure campaign, which is currently active across social media with a bunch of Beacon Hills’ finest supporting it, is encouraging everyone to share their best howl along with the aforementioned hashtag to help spread awareness about cystic fibrosis and support the work being done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (an explainer video is featured above).

Then the Teen Wolf cast — including Holland Roden, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Ryan Kelley, Ian Bohen and JR Bourne — will celebrate the campaign on September 7 with an interactive free live stream with games, special guests and surprises (!!) on a new app called Bidchat. The broadcast will be available in the US on the mobile app and worldwide on the web platform. Viewers can also bid for windows of time to interact with the cast live in split-screen — and proceeds from the winning bids and direct donations in the app will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

A bit of background about this specific cause and why it’s personal for the TW crew: JR’s niece Madison was born with the genetic disease 17 years ago, and the actor has long been a champion of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Soon after landing the role of Chris Argent, his activism began to evolve in a different, but fantastic, direction.

“When I started doing conventions for the show, I realized it was an amazing platform for discussing the disease and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation,” JR told MTV News. “The fans went above and beyond to show their love and support.”

Looking forward, what do the thespians want participants to take away from #Howl4ACure?

“We hope people learn something about the disease and how organizations like the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation really are essential to advancements in medical science,” Charlie explained. “And when you show love towards one community and lend your support, you’re really sending out a much larger message to the world. So I also hope that this #Howl4ACure campaign inspires others to take action on the causes they care about.”

And now, the howling. Before you upload your submission, here are some helpful tips from the twins.

“It’s got to start from the feet and shoot all the way up,” Charlie disclosed, while adding “it’s a full-body experience.”

Max’s take? “A howl is an expression of the self. You do you. Howl like nobody’s watching.”

With that, upload your howl clips now and use #Howl4ACure, then be sure to participate in the September 7 extravaganza!

Production on The Maze Runner: The Death Cure starring Dylan O’Brien will start up again in February, sources tell Deadline. The production had shut down after O’Brien was sidelined after being seriously injured on the set on March 17 while filming the third installment of the popular YA franchise and was hospitalized with injuries to his face.

The production was supposed to start up on May 9 but that was postponed, as was the release date, to give O’Brien more time to convalesce. Fox had pushed the film’s release date from February 17, 2017, to January 12, 2018.

O’Brien was said to fractured either his cheekbone or orbital socket after a stunt sequence went awry.

The crew went their separate ways after the second postponement, but now schedules have been worked out to move forward early next year, albeit in a new location. Maze Runner: The Death Cure still will be directed by Wes Ball. The script by T.S. Nowlin was adapted from one of the series of the popular books by James Dashner. Wyck Godfrey, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein and Lee Stollman are the producers.

Teen Wolf’s Colton Haynes received the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award at the group’s 17th annual gala this weekend (Saturday, August 27th);

The Teen Wolf star is being honored for the way he “has inspired countless LGBTq young people across the country and around the world to live their lives as their authentic selves,” said HRC President Chad Griffin in a statement.

“By simply being open about who he is, Haynes is helping to break down barriers and tear down closet doors,” added Griffin.

Haynes recently came out publicly as gay in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“People who are so judgmental about those who are gay or different don’t realize that acting 24 hours a day is the most exhausting thing in the world,” Haynes said in the interview.

The HRC gala took at the Seattle Sheraton on Saturday and included an auction to raise funds for LGBTQ causes.

Keahu Kahuanui is once again finding himself in the company of werewolves — with a few vampires and hybrids added in for good measure, TV Line confirms Keahu will be joining The Originals’ season 4;

The Teen Wolf alum will recur in the upcoming fourth season of The Originals as Josh’s new boyfriend Eddie, TVLine has learned exclusively. Despite being very much aware of the supernatural world around him, Eddie — described as “sweet, funny, sexy and charming, with an encyclopedic knowledge of random facts” — has no desire to be anything other than human. We’ll meet him in the second episode of the season.

Kahuanui joins a growing list of intriguing Season 4 additions, one which includes Christina Moses (Containment) as a fierce werewolf named Keelin and Neil Jackson (Sleepy Hollow) as a mysterious vampire named Alistair.

The Originals‘ fourth season kicks off midseason on The CW.
