Teen Wolf Online

Nightmares might kill your chances of a peaceful sleep cycle, but as of this weekend, they might also lead you straight to Teen Wolf greatness.

MTV’s massively popular sci-fi show, which will return later this year for its fifth season, is challenging fans far and wide to put their terror to good use by designing the creepiest, crawliest, bloodthirstiest creatures their imaginations will allow, and the composition that leads to the most pronounced bout of the chills will be made into a REAL “TEEN WOLF” BEAST. So whether you’re a pencil-to-paper guy, prefer illustrating on the computer or even want to let the monster inside loose through water colors, MTV wants to see what you’ve got.

To enter, simply upload your work to Tumblr (yes, you’ve gotta have an account, and you’ve gotta be following the official “Teen Wolf” Tumblr) with the hashtag #TWCreatureFeature by the end of February 4. Submissions will be judged on creativity, originality and the likelihood that they’ll fit in with the Beacon Hills world, and entrants must be at least 18 years old. The winner will be notified on or around March 2.

Teen Wolf’s Stephen Lunsford (Matt; Season 2) is featured in Beau LePaige’s music video ‘Summer Song’ and Stephen answered some questions too!

1. What inspired you to theme your music video after the movies of Director John Hughes?
It was actually the director, Jerome Scott and I’s passion for those movies that led us to doing this music video. I always loved the parade scene in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”. To me, that’s one of the most iconic scenes to mash up my 2 loves, music and acting. We started there and then decided to pay tribute to all of the scenes from his movies that included music or memorable scenes that we could recreate visually in our own way. So many people have been touched by John Hughes’ movies and we really wanted to live up to that expectation and do something new with them. But Honestly, I just wanted to wear the Ferris Bueller vest and show off my amazing dance moves.

2. When it comes to writing music, are songs relatively easy for you to come by and produce or is there a longer process of writing songs such as ‘Summer Song’?
“Summer Song” was interesting because I sat down and wrote all of it in about 20 minutes. For me, if I really believe what I’m saying songwriting is a fairly quick process. Of course it took a bit longer before Jon Leone (producer) and I sat down and really made it into what it is today.

3. How did it feel to be able to shoot your first full-production music video for ‘Summer Song’?
It was incredible. We really had an amazing cast and crew really wanting to do the song justice and who were also really passionate about the movies we paid tribute to. I can’t wait for the next one!

4. Seeing as you’ve been involved with some acting in other projects what do you love more? Singing/writing or acting? Why?
Music will always be my first love but I can’t see my life without either. They’re avenues that coexist well together though. I grew up doing musical theater so neither were mutually exclusive in my mind so I’ve always been like “I’ll do both!”.

5. Everyone is excited because it’s 2015 and the start of the new year usually means bigger and better things for everyone. What do you hope 2015 brings you? What are your goals for this upcoming year?
2015 is shaping up to be a great year. I have multiple EPs that will be released this year and looking into some tours later this year. You can always keep up with everything I’m doing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

6. Who’s your ideal or dream person to collaborate with?
That’s a great question. I have quite a few but I’ll limit myself to two people. I’d love to collaborate with Elton John because his ability bring musical life to the written page. And Matthew Healy just because I’ve been listening to the 1975 album so I’d like to see what we’d make musically.
