    Olympic gymnast stars Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber are hoping to continue their winning streak with roles opposite Hollywood vampires and werewolves – but not with Edward or Jacob.

    Access Hollywood’s Michelle Beadle caught up with Gabby, 16, and Jordyn, 17, on Thursday in New York City where they said they’d love to nab cameos on two of their favorite shows.

    “I think if the opportunity [for acting roles] come up we would do it,” Jordyn said.

    “I would go on ‘Vampire Diaries’ as maybe even a vampire,” Gabby said.

    “My favorite TV show is ‘Teen Wolf,’ so maybe [I could go] on that show. It would be awesome,” Jordyn told Access.

    Kroq emailed me this awesome article of Tyler Posey talking about his five favorite rock songs;

    Video –

    1. Bayside, “Sick, Sick, Sick” (from the album Killing Time):
    “It’s just sick, basically.”

    2. Blink-182, “Kaleidoscope” (from the album Neighborhoods):
    “They’re always going to be on my list. I’m going to go off their new album, Neighborhoods. ‘Kaleidoscope’ is just the tits, if I can say that.“

    3. No Doubt, “Settle Down” (from the album Push and Shove):
    “I do enjoy a little bit of the new No Doubt song. I heard them play it live at the Teen Choice Awards, which was great. (Singing) Get, get, get in line and settle down!”

    Colton Haynes and Tyler Posey tells The Hollywood Reporter what’s in store for us next;

    Tyler Posey (Scott), on the other hand, offers a more concrete look at what’s to come.
    “Jeff [Davis] told me the beginning of season three and it’s pretty cool,” he teases co-star Colton Haynes (Jackson). “Everyone explodes… it’s pretty weird, and Scott’s the only one left.”

    The network announced at Comic-Con that Teen Wolf had been picked up for another season, with MTV ordering 24 new episodes of the supernatural teen drama and moving production from Atlanta to Los Angeles.
    The cast appears to be excited about their new production schedule, settling into new homes on the West Coast and prepping to begin filming later this fall. And as a bonus, MTV could find itself with another version of Jersey Shore on its hands.

    “We’re actually all gonna rent a house together,” Haynes jokes.
    “Like Jersey Shore?!” exclaims Posey. “That would be so much fun. This could work – we know people at MTV.”

    A love interest for Derek Hale?!

    1. Jackson’s eyes are blue for a reason. When he changed into a werewolf, his eyes didn’t turn yellow, like most wolves’ do. They were a bright piercing blue for a very specific reason, and it’s not just because Colton Haynes’ eyes are so pretty that the special effects team couldn’t bring themselves to change them.

    By the way — that special effects team had plenty of other work to do on Jackson’s incredibly moving and incredibly naked transformation scene. “There were emails back-and-forth saying, ‘Too much side-butt,'” Davis laughs. “The effects team was like ‘How much smoke do you want?’ and I said, ‘I want just enough smoke so that I don’t see the crack of his a**.'”

    2. Boyd (Sinqua Walls) and Erica (Gage Golightly) are alive when Season 3 begins — but for how long? “The alphas are definitely going to factor in,” Davis says. “What happens to Erica and Boyd will be answered in the first two episodes, and it’s going to be very intense. They are alive but they are definitely not out of danger.”

    3. Don’t expect to see Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) totally get over Lydia (Holland Roden) now that she’s professed her epic, Kanima-curse-breaking love for Jackson. “He might have to step back a little and be a bit more of an observer, but things move very fast in the world of ‘Teen Wolf,’ so we’ll see,” Davis tells us. Those powerful moments between Stiles and Lydia will have lasting impact. In fact, the writers had originally intended for Erica to be Stiles’ new love interest, but they course-corrected in favor of more Stiles/Lydia moments this season.

    “We felt it out in terms of the story. We knew that we wanted the scene at the end of 11 where Stiles is on the field and Lydia is finally the one cheering for him,” Davis tells us. “It felt like that was a better moment to build to than the possibility of Stiles and Erica. You start to see which actors have the best chemistry with each other, and we felt like Gage had more chemistry with other characters, including Sinqua, actually, so to see them holding hands in one of the last episodes felt more right to me.”

    Assignment X talks about the shocking finale that was filled with cliffhangers. Brilliant Job Jeff!

    ASSIGNMENT X: BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER had the issue of its title turning some people off, but later discovering how great it was. I feel the same thing has happened with TEEN WOLF. No matter how much I tell people how great the series is, they get hung up on the title and that it’s on MTV. Do you see people reacting the same way?

    JEFF DAVIS: The feedback I get is pretty tremendous. I’m always surprised how into the show people get. They seem to love it. We depend on a lot of word of mouth, because MTV doesn’t quite have the resources as NBC to promote a show. We get a lot of people watching it on different platforms, so it’s frustrating when you see the ratings the next day. Why can’t we crest 2 million viewers, yet so many people really enjoy it. I’m happy people love it and come back dying to see what happens. I get a lot of tweets about it.

    AX: I was a bit hesitant about the Kanima coming into the werewolf mythology, but grew to like it. Were you hesitant to introduce another creature into the mix?

    DAVIS: The idea I had when I was doing the pilot was as long as we stay within the world of shape shifters, making the natural supernatural, we’re okay. There is a rule that you can’t mix two kinds of a magic in a TV show or movie. You can have vampires, but to have time traveling vampires seems to break the rule.

    AX: Now that you have 24 episodes, will you be telling a bigger story over 24 episodes?

    DAVIS: The way we’re structuring it is still to do separate stories. I believe, this 12-episode structure works quite well for us. A lot of serialized shows when they stretch it out to 22 or 24 episodes, there’s definitely filler. I’m not a fan of filler episodes myself.

    AX: There’s been so many hints of big things coming, what is the tease for Season 3. Is there a Big Bad coming or is the Big Bad for Season Three already in place?

    DAVIS: The end of the finale introduces the very new Big Bad for the first part of Season Three, definitely. There are certain questions in Season Two that will be answered in Season Three. I already teased, the reason Jackson comes out of the water in the first episode this season is answered in Season Three. I can’t tell you who the new villains are, and there is more than one, but it will be fun and you’ll definitely find out at the end of Episode 12.

    Linden Ashby (Stiles’ dad on Teen Wolf talks about moving from Atlanta to L.A. Our favorite show has been renewed for a third season with 24 episodes, yes, you’re reading this correctly, we’re having a new season and 24 whole episodes to enjoy! The show will be moving from Atlanta to L.A and will be bigger than ever. Linden Ashby shares his thoughts with Zap2it;

    Zap2it: Were you surprised by the quality of the writing on your show?

    Linden Ashby: Honestly? When I saw the title “Teen Wolf,” my first response was: “Really? This is the best we can come up with creatively right now?” But then I read it, and Jeff Davis is just a phenomenal writer. What we have is this dark, edgy, character-driven piece of serial scripted drama that is just pretty freaking phenomenal.

    And for the record, it still isn’t clear what Stiles’ first name is;

    Zap2it: What are Stilinski’s and Stiles’ first names?

    Linden Ashby: Jeff [Davis, the show’s writer/executive producer] won’t tell us. Seriously. Dylan and I have come up with a few suggestions, which are pretty imaginative. And very inappropriate. I can tell you that Stiles’ first name is very difficult to pronounce, and it was his mother’s father’s name.
