Gage Golightly, who we know best as Tessa Banner, the bully at Juliet’s school on “Ringer”, will play Beacon High student Erica in multiple episodes. Like Tessa, Erica has a tough side to her, but in Season 2, she’ll finally catch the eye of some of the boys — and some of the wolves — when she undergoes a bit of an ugly-duckling-to-swan metamorphosis.

Also in a multi-episode arc, Sinqua Walls will play Boyd, described as a “shy loner at Beacon Hills High School who reveals there’s more to him than meets the eye.” You may recognize Sinqua as Daniel from “Secret Life of the American Teenager” — we also loved him as Jamarcus Hall on “Friday Night Lights,” the one player on the Panthers football team whose parents didn’t support the sport.

The Youth Rock Awards event was held yesterday, December 7th, and I totally forgot about it ’cause it was my brother’s birthday… Ghehehe. Lost in KOSTKO opened the show and our amazing Tyler Posey took the Rockin’ TV Actor home and Teen Wolf took the Rockin TV Drama Ensemble. Yaaaay! I’m still searching for pictures so I hope I can post them soon! What I did find was this interview;

Filming for Season 2 of “Teen Wolf” is officially under way, and while MTV is usually a stickler for keeping major plotlines hush-hush, executive producer Jeff Davis saw no harm in recently unlocking the steel fortress and leaking a few of the scripts’ finer details exclusively to Remote Control. Below, five interesting tidbits about the next season of “Teen Wolf.”

1. The first episode will be called “Omega.”

2. You will eventually learn what the Triskele tattoo on Derek’s back means.

3. The second episode revolves around the new full moon.

4. Lydia will no longer hide her extraordinary intelligence.

5. Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Colton Haynes, Holland Roden and Crystal Reed all spent weeks with personal trainers to get into prime shape for the shooting of Season 2. Dylan O’Brien ate pizza and somehow still remained skinny.

It’s that time of the year, and when a year comes to its ending, all kinds of lists pop up on websites such as Ology. Ology presents, as the title of this post says, their list of the ten best tv shows ever in 2011. Teen Wolf made that list by coming in on the 9th place;

There’s a sliver of Teen Wolf that isn’t much more than a bunch of really good looking Abercrombie cutouts running for their lives (I dare you to Google Tyler Posey and Crystal Reed as the tale’s ill-fated Romeo and Juliet and try to keep it in your pants). But outside of glistening abs and perfect bods, clueless Scott McCall dangerously juggles his first crush, lurking frenemies, lacrosse and growing hairy in MTV’s foggy spook town that never gets any light EVER. It’s equal parts thrilling, scary, well-crafted, and charmingly witty, especially with the discovery of the show’s breakout star Dylan O’Brien as sidekick Stiles. Wolf didn’t put all of its eggs in the main character’s basket—which is good, because that background eye candy puts on one hell of a show. – Terron R. Moore

“Teen Wolf” fans in on a new character for Season 2: Isaac (Daniel Sharman), a withdrawn teenage lacrosse player who is having some trouble at home.

Now, Zap2it can introduce you to the “trouble.”

John Wesley Shipp will be playing Isaac’s not-so-nice dad — and the owner of Beacon Hills Cemetery. He sees a whole new side of his son after Derek brings Isaac into the wolf pack, and a few “mysterious incidents” plague him in particular. Shipp is headed to Atlanta to begin shooting the intense role next week. MTV confirms that we can expect to see him in two episodes.

Of course, we know Shipp best from his role as Mitch, Dawson’s ill-fated father, on “Dawson’s Creek,” but he’s also got a following for his superhero role as “The Flash,” in the early ’90s.

“Expanding my pantheon of Dads with WILDLY various parenting techniques…I am happy to announce a new Dad,” he wrote on his Facebook on Friday, Dec. 2. “This time around for a couple of episodes of ‘Teen Wolf.’ Shooting commences December 6.”

(Just because it’s awesome, we’d also like to share with you that the status update got a friendly comment from Mary-Margaret Humes, who played Dawson’s mom! “Big smile 🙂 Love you my immortal husband…XO,” she wrote. Best. Thing. Ever.)

Hopefully, this time he won’t be the victim of death-by-ice-cream. Relive the tragedy below, please.

Tyler Posey hides his pretty face from the cameras in this new feature from the December 2011 issue of DaMan magazine.

The 20-year-old Teen Wolf star chatted about growing up in front of a camera, looking up to Tom Hanks and what the best really is. Check it:

On growing up as a child star: “I couldn’t have asked for anything more of my childhood. I got to play with my G.I. Joe toys and video games while I was working with J.Lo [Jennifer Lopez in the 2002 film Maid in Manhattan] and Arnold [Schwarzenegger on the 2002 film Collateral Damage]. It was awesome!”

On his acting idols: “Tom Hanks definitely; he’s so well-rounded and has such a broad acting range. He has also managed to keep his head level his entire career. I would love to work with Matt Damon. I feel like I would be so intimidated that I would forget all my lines.”

On the best part of the industry: “The best is everything about it! For me, the worst is that I feel like people expect me to have this pretentious or ‘Hollywood’ attitude.”
